John 14:2
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Greetings.
In America today there is a notation of a man who died for equal rights, we could debate the parts of his character or the movement behind him but we cannot deny that his death has brought new freedom for so many.
Today however there needs to be a new out cry as the depression moves forward, that cry is for the poor and for those have lost everything and now reside in shelters, back allies, under bridges, and even squatting in expensive foreclosed homes. The Agencies and churches that care for these people, some who just too proud for welfare which is being overloaded, are themselves being overloaded because of the economy the donations have fell down to a trickle of what they were. Some though are still getting large donations but those donation are coming to very large agencies that have such a set of rules that it excludes many of the poor, how do I know, well this is our 12th year of operation, we do not get food or help from any government agency and are not head and name counters like those that receive from the government.
We do not make ourselves a corporation so we please the federal government and make them the head of our Church as the head of the church is Yeshua not the state, read it, Google it, the head of any corp. is the state. We did not accept their number so we get our food for the people the Father sends us by paying full price or my wife hitting sales when she has the money. mostly we buy day by day as the Father provides for all and has for this our 12th year.
As I opened the door today I heard the people saying “ The door’s open we are Home now” Home that is how they feel when they come into the Father’s house, Home, and not looked down on but at home…..they know that someday they will be in the Father’s house as it holds a place for them, just as Messiah’s Branch Mission Church is the Father’s house and holds a place for them now. We pray that this expands so we can care for more as my heart cry’s for them, but in the mean time, I am happy and do not murmur about what He provides and how He does so.
Today yes we are overcrowded, and while I have little as far as money goes by the end of the day the Father will have provided just what was needed, will he use you to do that?
